Apinchapat Kongkerd

Ms Apinchapat Kongkerd is an occupational therapist with over 26 years of experience in the public health sector across a variety of clinical, research, education, and management positions in occupational therapy and assistive technology for persons with disabilities. Since 2007, she has been involved in the establishment of Assistive Technology Service Centers in Thailand. She conducted several training courses on Assistive Technology and implemented the WHO Wheelchair Service Training Package-Basic, Intermediate, and Training of Trainers in Thailand. Rehabilitation personnel from different parts of the country and neighbouring countries attended the training. She currently leads the assistive technology team that provides AT services for persons with mobility and visual impairment. She is also involved in a curriculum committee and teaching in a Bachelor of Science Program in Occupational Therapy.
