Biography

Dr Mustafa Kerem Ozyavuz is a medical doctor, PhD in molecular medicine, MSc in Hospital and Health Facilities Management, Bachelor’s degree in Economic, Administration and public sciences. He have been working in emergency service over 20 years and also he is a doctor of hemodialysis. He is coordinator of health facilities (including Emergency services) more than 15 years. He was also national focal point for Turkey and Turkish governmental EMT and worked for verification process in WHO. He was the vice manager of emergency health services in Istanbul (over 15 million population and 286 hospital) 2017-2021 in pandemic. He has experience in managing and coordination of emergency services, and preparing disaster management programs and sim-ex for hospitals.  He is also master trainer of hospital disaster management program in Turkey. He is still co-director of Marmara University hospital (The biggest university hospital in Turkey over 1200 beds).
