Dr Paulo Redner

Biography

Paulo Redner is a public health researcher at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (FIOCRUZ), Brazil. He has a degree in Biological Sciences in the Genetics modality from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, a Master's and PhD in Sciences with an emphasis in molecular biology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Dr Redner is a Member of the National School of Public Health (ENSP/FIOCRUZ) Institutional Review Board since 2012. Currently, he is the chief of the Brazilian National Reference Laboratory for TB and other mycobacteria, responsible for diagnosis, monitoring, and training of the mycobacteriosis laboratory network. He has been publishing book chapters and scientific papers in the molecular biology of mycobacteriosis area.
