Biography

Dr Vladimir Dedkov holds an MD, and PhD in Epidemiology from Russia. He is the Deputy Director for Research at the Pasteur Institute in Russia. Prior to this role he was the Head of the group working on the identification of new pathogens in the "Central Research Institute of Epidemiology" of The Federal Service on Customers' Rights Protection and Human Well-being Surveillance. His expertise lies in virology, molecular diagnostics, NGS, rare and tropical diseases, biodiversity of zoonotic viruses.
