Elena Sobré Flotats

Elena Sobré has more than 25 years of professional experience in audit, compliance and risk, in international organizations and the private sector. Elena was appointed WHO Head of Audit in 2017.

Before joining WHO, Elena held several audit positions in the UN and top leading firms in the private and public sector, leading multi‐disciplinary audit teams, including in developing countries and emergency environments. Elena has an Executive MBA specialization in International Organizations and holds a degree in economic science. Elena is a Certified Internal Auditor, a Certified Fraud Examiner, and has a Certification in Risk Management Assurance.

Elena is strong supporter of WHO’s mandate to promote health and safety while helping the vulnerable worldwide.
