Graduation: Medical Doctor, specialization in internal medicine and MSc in tropical disease, from the University of Brasília (UnB).

Brief biography:

Graduated in medicine from the medical school in 2004, and completed a residency in internal medicine in 2007. After that, moved to Mozambique to work with the Columbia University - New York (NGO ICAP), working on the implementation of HIV programs, TB/HIV co-infection and prevention of vertical transmission (2007-2011). In 2011, already in Brazil, started activities in the NTP Brazil, being responsible for activities related to TB/HIV co-infection and DR-TB (2011-2020). Finished the master's degree in tropcical medicine in 2013 with UnB. In 2016 started working as an assistant doctor in a health unit in the Brasília public health system, in 2020 assumed the position of coordinator of the NTP-Brazil, being the team manager, position he still holds today.
