Biography

Ilan Cerna-Turoff is a Postdoctoral Research Scientist in the Department of Environmental Health Sciences at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health. Dr Cerna-Turoff has expertise in global health, social epidemiology, child health, and the development of statistical approaches for data scarce and challenging settings. His research focuses on estimating how climate change, disasters, and widespread social disruption affect violence against children in low- and middle-income countries. He received a PhD in Public Health and Epidemiology from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
