Prof John Conly

Dr John Conly, MD, is professor and medical Director, Infection Prevention and Control, Alberta Health Services, Calgary , AB Canada since 2001. ( 2001 – current). From 2015 to 2017 he was a member and Senior Methodologist for WHO Guidelines Development Group (GDG) to develop an official WHO guideline on the use of critically important antimicrobials for humans in food-producing animals. Currently he is member and chair of the WHO Infection Prevention and Control Research and Development Expert Group for COVID-19, and member of the  WHO Health Emergencies Programme (WHE) Ad-hoc COVID-19 IPC Guidance Development Group and the External Guideline Development Group, COVID-19: Occupational Health and Safety for Health Workers.
