Kavitha Viswanathan

Kavitha is Public health specialist with 15+ years of experience working with countries on establishment and strengthening of integrated and interoperable health information systems. Focal areas of expertise include the development of tools and standards related to governance of health information systems, including systems integration and interoperability and data quality assessment and strengthening. She has a background in developing partnerships with diverse range of actors, including bilateral donors, civil society, private sector, multilateral partners, country and regional technical institutions and country governments, to institutionalize the collection, analysis, and use of data within country systems for strengthened country governance and stewardship of the health sector. She has lived and worked in multiple countries across Africa and Asia.
