Biography

Melinda Frost currently leads the Learning Design and Production portfolio for the WHO Academy. She has held key roles in WHO Health Emergencies, focusing on workforce capacity building and Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE). Melinda has supported over 40 Member States across all WHO regions to strengthen emergency capabilities and co-led training programs that prepared 300+ communicators and scientists for deployment. Previously, she served as Director of Emergencies and Health Communication at the U.S. CDC in Beijing and led global public health training programs at the CDC headquarters. She holds master’s degrees in Global Public Health and Educational Psychology, alongside a bachelor’s in Corporate Communication and Instructional Design.
