Musa Zia Hamidi
Biography
Mr Musa Zia Hamidi is a Disability and Rehabilitation expert with significant experience in establishing rehabilitation facilities within the National Health Care System. From October 2010 until August 2021, he served as the founder and Disability and Rehabilitation Program Manager at the Ministry of Public Health of Afghanistan. Additionally, he has collaborated with international organizations to provide assistive technologies in low- and middle-income countries and has supported the implementation of multi-million dollar donor-funded projects in fragile states. Mr. Hamidi has extensive experience in developing strategies, guidelines, and standards for disability and rehabilitation programs, as well as quality assurance tools for the provision of disability and assistive technologies services at the community level through the adoption of the community-based rehabilitation strategy. He has presented various research papers on Assistive Technologies at national, regional, and international professional scientific conferences and currently works as a freelance Disability and Rehabilitation Consultant.
