Ms Ntombifuthi Precious Shongwe

Ms Ntombifuthi Precious Shongwe is a development practitioner by profession. She is currently the Acting National Coordinator for Swaziland National Network of Young Positives (SNYP+). Precious is passionate about the empowerment of youth and women and making sure that women living with HIV, young people living with HIV and adolescent girls and young women take up leadership spaces and are engaged at all levels. Her experience is centered on mentoring young future leaders. She also guides on HIV programming for young people and adults living with HIV. She has experience engaging government and decision makers on fair budget allocation for national HIV programmes, including for organizations of people living with HIV, and welfare of people living with HIV in Eswatini. In her daily work, Precious focuses on networking with partners, stakeholders and potential donors. She also focuses on designing and advocating for youth-relevant interventions and giving technical support to other stakeholders on programming for youth and women.
