Patanjali Nayar

Dr Patanjali Dev Nayar served as the Regional Adviser- Disability and injury Prevention and Rehabilitation at WHO South-East Asia Region (SEARO). He was one of the experts who helped publish and launched the first Assistive Product List (APL). He is the advisor on the issues related to AT, APL, and improving access to AT in SEARO. Dr Nayar was able to enthuse the WHO CCs, INGOs, NGOs, academic institutions, and individuals to join hands and support the activities related to AT in SEARO and globally. In 2019, he founded and launched a foundation, “Health And Rehabilitation Technologies” (HeART) that provides support to AT and all related areas.
