Professor Razak M. Gyasi

Razak Gyasi has been named among the world’s top 2% of scientists by Stanford University/Elsevier Publishers in 2023. His research and publication interests are eclectic and broadly focus on social policy and development agendas, particularly ageing, health, and healthcare dynamics. His current research spans ageing epidemiology, understanding social connection, the geography of ageing, socio-medical gerontology, geriatric mental health, lifestyle and sleep health, and muscle health. He employs social research paradigms to understand the intersection of various social policies, social change, and health outcomes in multilevel social contexts.
