Richard White

Richard White is a Prof of Infectious Disease Modelling at LSHTM. He is Director of the TB Modelling and Analysis Consortium, and co-leads the LSHTM TB Modelling Group. His research focus is the mathematical and statistical modelling of the transmission and control of infectious diseases, particularly TB and HIV. He leads vaccine related work on the potential global health impact of new TB vaccines, and developing a mathematical modelling framework to predict the best dose in humans for TB vaccines using animal data.  He is co-chair of the Collaboration for TB Vaccine Discovery Epidemiology, Modeling and Trial Designs Research Community
