Silvana Contepomi

Silvana Contepomi is a clinical practitioner and educator with expertise in mobility. She is a trainer for the wheelchair service training package and a consultant for assistive technology provision programs in low and middle-income settings, including Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, Ecuador, Honduras, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, and Mexico. Silvana serves on the board of international organizations such as the International Society of Wheelchair Professionals (ISWP) and the Global Alliance of Assistive Technology Organizations (GAATO). She is also the president of the Argentinian Assistive Technology Association (AATA). Silvana aims to contribute by building networks and partnerships, reviewing evidence for the development of assistive services and products to support implementation in less-resourced settings, and measuring outcomes and impact on well-being.
