Dr Sowath Ly

Dr. Sowath Ly is a medical epidemiologist and is currently the Deputy Head of the Epidemiology and Public Health Unit at the Institut Pasteur du Cambodge (IPC) in Cambodia. He has involved in responses to infectious disease outbreaks and has been principal investigator and co-investigator in research studies mainly in communities focusing on dengue, chikungunya, rabies, avian influenza and emerging/re-emerging infectious diseases. He was in charge of the vaccination services at IPC during 2016-2019, including three centers for rabies post-exposure prophylaxis. Dr. Ly has also been in the position of Deputy Director of the IPC since 2017.
