Suerie Moon

Biography

Suerie Moon is Co-Director of the Global Health Centre at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. Her research and teaching lie at the nexus of global governance and health, with a focus on innovation and access to medicines; and outbreak preparedness and response. In addition to publishing regularly in top-tier academic journals in her field, such as the New England Journal of MedicineThe Lancet and British Medical Journal, her work has been covered in mainstream media such as the New York TimesThe EconomistLe Mondeal-Jazeera, and the Financial Times. She testifies in legislative hearings, speaks at academic and policy conferences, and teaches and advises students at the Graduate Institute. She serves on a number of expert advisory bodies, and received a BA from Yale, an MPA from Princeton, and PhD from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
