Disease Outbreak Reported
As at 9 August, 105 patients had been hospitalized in Bombay with food-borne intoxication. Experts from the National Institute for Communicable Diseases, Delhi, have been called to investigate the cause of outbreak and to advise on its control. WHO Regional Office for South East Asia and Headquarters facilitated delivery of antitoxin.
