Report on the inaugural meeting of the Strategic Partners’ Initiative for Data and Digital Health: Copenhagen, Denmark, 13 June 2024

Overview
This report summarizes the proceedings, key statements and opinions of the speakers of the inaugural meeting of the Strategic Partners’ Initiative for Data and Digital Health (SPI-DDH), which took place in Copenhagen, Denmark, on 13 June 2024. The meeting convened a diverse group of stakeholders working on the digital health agenda from across the WHO European Region, including representatives of public and private sectors, non-State actors, academia, civil society and the international community. Participants were presented with a vision for the future of digitally transformed health systems in the Region, together with an overview of the process under which the SPI-DDH will function. Thereafter, work was undertaken in thematic working groups, allowing participants to provide input to an initial scoping of topics, and to propose products/outputs that the working groups would like to develop over the coming months under the Initiative.
