Measuring the global diabetes targets in the WHO European Region: Kyrgyzstan case study

Overview

Five global diabetes targets have been developed to strengthen the prevention and control of diabetes. There are different approaches and data sources that can be used to measure progress against these targets within the WHO European Region. In Kyrgyzstan, diabetes surveillance is performed using multiple data sources including the national eHealth database of primary care health records, the national diabetes register and health examination surveys.
