25-28 April | Kathmandu, Bagmati Province - WHO Regional Office for South-East Asia (SEA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) and WHO, Country Office for Nepal, held a regional meeting to enhance the capacity of WHO SEA Member States in improving drinking water quality surveillance and sanitation safety planning, with a particular focus on climate risks. With field visits, the workshop enabled an exchange of knowledge and best practices on key policies, capacities, and resource gaps in the region. The meeting promoted national and regional understanding of established tools and approaches, and dignitaries from the MoHP, Ministry of Water Supply, Member States, and development partners, committed to the effective implementation and sustainability of water, and sanitation safety plans and audits.
