EXTENSION OF DEADLINE TO 10 MARCH 2024

The Secretariat of the Global Working Group on Public-Private Mix (PPM) for TB Care and Prevention of the Stop TB Partnership, that is hosted by the World Health Organization (WHO) Global TB Programme, is announcing a call for applications for new members to serve on the PPM core group in 2024-2025.

To apply for PPM core group membership, please submit your applications by email to: diash@who.int  and gtbprogramme@who.int no later than 10 March 2024 (Extended deadline).

Individuals may be nominated by their institution/organization or may choose to apply on their own behalf. Applications should contain a current CV with a cover letter (one page maximum) expressing their interest in and suitability for PPM Core Group membership. A letter of endorsement from one’s institution/organization may also be attached along with the application.

Applicants should note that members will be selected to ensure that the perspectives of a broad range of constituencies and regions continue to be represented on the Core Group.

Election of the PPM Working Group leadership including the Chair and Vice Chair will be undertaken once the selection of new members are complete.

The PPM Working Group supports the enhancement of collaboration between national TB programmes and diverse public, voluntary, corporate and private health care providers for the TB response in different settings. Engaging all health providers through PPM approaches  is essential to reach the millions of people with TB who miss out on access to quality care each year either due to under-reporting or under-diagnosis.
