This event is co-hosted by the international advocacy organization Global Citizen, the European Commission and the World Health Organization.
Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, WHO Director-General; European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen; and Hugh Evans, Co-Founder and CEO of Global Citizen, will be joined by special guests to discuss plans for recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic for all people, everywhere.
This will include the launch of Global Citizen’s five-point policy plan, titled A Recovery Plan for the World, which involves a year-long campaign and series of events spanning hunger, learning, planet, equity for all, which adds to global efforts to build back better from the pandemic, including the WHO Manifesto for a healthy recovery from COVID-19.
