Preventing violence against children: INSPIRE webinar series - Income and economic strengthening

17 March 2021

Webinar #6

Income and economic strengthening

To assist governments, practitioners and implementers, civil society and faith-based organizations in their efforts to reduce violence against children, the INSPIRE core agencies and INSPIRE Working Group initiated a series of eight training webinars (December 2020 - April 2021). The aims are to:

  • Introduce INSPIRE to those who need to know and act on it,
  • Remind those who already work with INSPIRE about the need to scale it up, and
  • Give all INSPIRE stakeholders an opportunity to get detailed insights into each of the seven strategies and the cross-cutting elements.

This sixth webinar in the series presents the fifth INSPIRE strategy “income and economic strengthening” in more depth. There is a particular focus on the impact of cash transfers on violence against women and children in low- and middle-income countries.
