Multisectoral collaboration for field epidemiology training: COHFE framework and training guidance

12 June 2024

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) developed the Competencies for One Health Field Epidemiology (COHFE) framework and training guidance to support field epidemiology training programmes to incorporate the One Health approach.

The COHFE framework defines the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed for field epidemiologists working in the public health, animal health or environment sectors to implement the One Health approach. It consists of 14 domains with guidance for the frontline, intermediate, and advanced training levels.

This webinar introduces the COHFE framework and its supporting manuals and provides an opportunity to discuss use cases and implementation.

This webinar was hosted in 2 sessions on 12 June 2024, the participants could choose one to register and attend.
