WHO Member States have expressed a need to understand how to successfully operationalize information management in countries. This webinar will focus on the operationalization of infodemic management within national public health systems, while also highlighting regional and global efforts. Since the significant increase of infodemics in 2020, various frameworks, strategies, tools, and capacity-building practices have been developed and implemented. These initiatives aim to understand health information environments and address narratives that may impact the adoption of healthy behaviors. During the webinar, implementers of infodemic management will share their best practices, providing an opportunity for other practitioners to learn how infodemic management can enhance prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery efforts during health emergencies.
