Chen Yejia is 34 years old and was born in Shanghai, China. She has been a voluntary blood donor for 15 years. In addition to donating blood, she is also a volunteer and provides services for blood donors and hematopoietic stem cell donors. 
“Once I went to the Children's Hospital to visit children with leukemia. The children who were struggling with the disease were weak and some had lost their hair because of the therapy, but they still had smile on their faces and were full of hope for life. This touched my heart and strengthened my determination to continue to give blood to help them.
