Overview

The WHO Expert Committee on Biological Standardization met in London from 2 to 7 May 1949 on the premises of the Medical Research Council. The Assistant Director-General outlined the steps taken to implement the decisions of the First World Health Assembly regarding the establishment of an expert committee on biological standardization.
