18th report: WHO TRS N°329: 1965

Overview

The WHO Expert Committee on Biological Standardization met in Geneva from 27 September to 2 October 1965. Recalling the long traditions of the work on biological standardization, the Deputy DG stated that most of the members of the Committee had long association with it and could be depended on to maintain the high standard expected of the Committee. The Deputy DG also referred to a resolution of the 18th WHA recommending that Member states of WHO should recognise officially certain international standards and units enumerated in the resolution, this list superseding a similar list included in a resolution of a previous WHA.
