27th report: WHO TRS N°594: 1975

Overview

The WHO Expert Committee on Biological Standardization met in Geneva from 2 to 8 December 1975. The meeting was opened on behalf of the Director-General by Dr. D. Tejada-de-Rivero, Assistant Director-General, who spoke of the emphasis the was now being placed on the application of standards and of the increased use of the biological standardization programme in a more practical way, especially in the developing countries.
