Handbook for the integration of the World Organisation for Animal Health Performance of Veterinary Services results into the WHO State-Party Self-Assessment Annual Reporting process

Overview

This handbook highlights the synergies and complementarities between the State Party self-assessment annual reporting (SPAR) tool and the OIE’s Performance of Veterinary Services (PVS) Pathway, a solid and widely used framework available for national Veterinary Services to assesses their performance. PVS Pathway reports greatly facilitate the use of the SPAR by providing concrete information regarding the national Veterinary Services’ contribution to specific core capacities defined in the IHR (2005).
