Overview
The Third Meeting of the Asia-Pacific Parliamentarian Forum on Global Health was hosted by the Japan Parliamentarian League for the World Health Organization, with support from the World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Office for the Western Pacific, at the National Diet in Tokyo from 24 to 25 August 2017. A total of 58 parliamentarians from 22 countries attended the meeting. The theme of the meeting was the role of parliamentarians in addressing noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) and healthy ageing
