Cold chain equipment and dry store temperature mapping tool

Overview

A tool for mapping temperatures in various types of cold chain equipment and dry stores. Temperature mapping (TM) is the process of recording and mapping temperatures within three-dimensional (3D) spaces, such as cold and freezer rooms, dry storage areas, and refrigerator and freezer units. Temperature mapping and temperature monitoring are integral to the appropriate storage conditions for pharmaceuticals. Good manufacturing practice for pharmaceutical products recommends regular temperature mapping in all types of warehouses.

Version 7.0 of the TM tool was updated in November 2021. This tool comes with a separate User guide (How to temperature map cold chain equipment and storage areas). This version works with the following temperature data loggers: LogTag TRIX8, Q-tag CLm doc LR, and Libro Ti1-L.

The Version 9.2 of the tool updated in June 2024 includes 3 additional data loggers that are compatible for use with this tool. The User guide in this version is integrated into the TM tool and accessible through the “help” button in each worksheet.

This version works with the following data loggers: LogTag TRIX8, Q-tag CLm doc LR, Libro Ti1-L, BlueTag 360, LogTagUTRID-16, and NT bpro.

Both versions are available in UN official languages.
