Overview

Ethiopia is facing a complex, prolonged humanitarian and health crisis due to conflict, the climate crisis and worsening disease outbreaks. In 2024, more than 21.4 million people required humanitarian assistance and this severe level of need will continue in 2025 as WHO responds to multiple concurrent emergencies in the country.
