HHFA Combined questionnaire Availability and Readiness: Core questions only October 2022

Availability and Readiness

Overview

The HHFA is a comprehensive health facility survey that assesses the availability of health facility services and the capacities of facilities to deliver services at required standards of quality. HHFA questionnaires are based on the four HHFA modules: service availability, service readiness, quality of care, and management and finance. The questionnaires are available in “stand-alone” and “combined” formats. The combined questionnaires integrate the core questions from the service availability, service readiness, and/or management and finance modules. Two versions of the combined questionnaire are available:

  • Combined questionnaire (availability, readiness, and management and finance) – core questions only
  • Combined questionnaire (availability and readiness) – core questions only

The combined questionnaires collect data through a facility audit methodology that involves interviews with health care providers and observation of items and conditions within facilities. For access to the questionnaires in Word format, please contact hhfa@who.int

All the HHFA questionnaires are programmed into the HHFA CSPro electronic data collection tool.
