A comprehensive mapping of availability of essential services and barriers to their provision

Overview
The Health Resources and Services Availability Monitoring System (HeRAMS) aims to provide decision-makers and health stakeholders at large with vital and up-to-date information on the availability of essential health resources and services, help them identify gaps, and determine priorities for intervention.
HeRAMS has been deployed in Afar, Ethiopia since June 2023, enabling the assessment of 476 health service delivery units (HSDUs) across the region. The information presented in this report is derived from data reported as of August 2023. While the HeRAMS deployment is ongoing and data verification and validation continue, this analysis is preliminary and intended solely to inform operations.
