HeRAMS Mozambique - Cabo Delgado: Accessibility to child health and nutrition services October 2024
Description of modelling results

Overview
The health resources and services availability monitoring system (HeRAMS) aims to provide decision-makers and health stakeholders at large with vital and up-to-date information on the availability of essential health resources and services, help them identify gaps, and determine priorities for intervention.
The HeRAMS accessibility models enhance the understanding of health service coverage and the barriers to their delivery. By integrating data on service availability, barriers to provision, geospatial models of physical accessibility, and gridded population data, these models introduce a novel set of indicators to measure population access to health services. This approach provides valuable insights for decision-makers, supporting the prioritization of needs, planning interventions, and assessing their impact.
The report presents HeRAMS accessibility model results for child health and nutrition services in Cabo Delgado province, Mozambique, based on data reported into HeRAMS as of 24 October 2024. While this HeRAMS deployment remains ongoing and data verification and validation continue, the analysis presented here is not final and has been produced solely to inform operations.
Additional modeling results are available for maternal, neonatal, and sexual violence care services.
