HeRAMS Nepal September 2024 floods and landslides infographics

January 2025

Overview

The Health Resources and Services Availability Monitoring System (HeRAMS) aims to provide decision-makers and health stakeholders at large with vital and up-to-date information on the availability of essential health resources and services, help them identify gaps, and determine priorities for intervention.

HeRAMS was deployed in Bagmati, Koshi, and Madhesh provinces following the severe flooding and landslides that affected these provinces in September 2024. The analysis presented here provides insights into the status of 78 health service delivery units (HSDUs) across the three provinces, based on data reported as of 31 January 2025

While this HeRAMS deployment remains ongoing and data verification and validation continue, the analysis presented here is not final and has been produced solely to inform operations.
