HeRAMS Sudan infographics December 2024

A comprehensive mapping of availability of essential services and barriers to their provision

Overview

The Health Resources and Services Availability Monitoring System (HeRAMS) aims to provide decision-makers and health stakeholders at large with vital and up-to-date information on the availability of essential health resources and services, help them identify gaps, and determine priorities for intervention.

HeRAMS has been deployed in Sudan since June 2023, allowing for the assessment of 2381 Health Service Delivery Units (HSDUs) across Abyei PCA, Blue Nile, Gedaref, Kassala, Khartoum, Red Sea, Sennar, and White Nile States. The information presented in this report is derived from data reported up to 31 December 2024. While this HeRAMS deployment is ongoing and data verification and validation continue, the analysis presented here is not final and has been produced solely to inform operations
