Mapping of the operational status of health facilities in the most affected oblasts of Ukraine

Overview

The Health Resources and Services Availability Monitoring System (HeRAMS) aims to provide decision-makers and health stakeholders at large with vital and up-to-date information on the availability of essential health resources and services, help them identify gaps, and determine priorities for intervention.

HeRAMS has been deployed in Ukraine since November 2022. This report presents the first results of the operational status of health facilities, including availability and barriers to essential services in the most affected oblasts of Ukraine. While this HeRAMS deployment remains ongoing and data verification and validation continue, the analysis presented here is not final and has been produced solely to inform operations.

Results presented in this report are based on the data collection from November 2022 to January 2023 in Kyivska,  Chernihivska, Sumska, Kharkivska, Donetska, Dnipropetrovska, Zaporizka, Mykolaivska, Odeska oblasts. The analysis of HeRAMS data collected in Khersonska oblast is annexed to the report.
