Influenza at the human-animal interface summary and assessment, 22 June 2021

 

Since the previous update on 21 May 2021, one human case of infection with an influenza A(H5N6) virus, two cases of human infection with influenza A(H9N2) viruses, one human infection with an influenza A(H10N3) virus, two human cases of infection with influenza A(H1N2) variant viruses and one human case of infection with an influenza A(H3N2) variant virus were reported officially. One additional human case of infection with an influenza A(H1N1)v virus was detected.
