IOAC Field visits in Bangladesh, 28 January – 1 February 2018

Overview

The objective of the IOAC mission was to review progress in implementing the WHO Health Emergencies (WHE) Programme in Bangladesh, and specifically WHO’s response to the Rohingya crisis in Cox’s Bazar. The methods of work included a desk review, site visits and a series of interviews with WHO staff from the WHE Programme based at Headquarters (HQ), the South-East Asia Regional Office (SEARO), the Bangladesh Country Office (CO), and the Incident Management Team (IMT) in Cox’s Bazar.
