Requirements for Meningococcal Polysaccharide vaccine, Annex 2, TRS No 904

Overview

The WHO Expert Committee on Biological standardizatio, at its 27th meeting, adopted Requirements for Meningococcal Polysacchardie vaccine, which were published in its report. These were subsequently ammended in its 29th report. Since that time, an evaluation of the use in WHO Recommendation/ Requirements of the abnormal toxicity test to  control vaccine shas shown considerable variations in specifications for the test. It is therefore appropriate to ammend, as follows, the Requirements for Meningococcal polysaccharide vaccine (WHO TRS No. 594, 1976, Annex 2). No attempt has been made to review the entire Requirement.
