Options for nutritional management of moderate wasting in children presenting to a healthy facility with acute illness

Overview
This trial will aim to evaluate the efficacy of locally available foods (LAF) or MDSF compared to RUSF given to moderately wasted children presenting to health facilities with an acute illness, on initial anthropometric recovery (within 12 weeks of enrolment) and sustained recovery (at 24 weeks after enrolment).
