Overview

This vaccine Allocation Decision presentation contains information on the tenth allocation round, which was dedicated to allocating part of the supply of Pfizer vaccine available in the first quarter of 2022 and procured by the COVAX Facility through facilitated procurement by the government of the United States of America. A pre-allocation was done to ensure that vaccine supply available in early January 2022 could be prepared to be shipped to countries in a timely manner. This VAD represents the proposal and decision achieved during the IAVG meeting on 9 November 2021, during which the deliberations resulted in consensus on the VAD.
