WHO/BS/2023.2462 WHO 6th International Standard for FSH/LH

Overview

A candidate WHO International Standard for human urinary Follicle-Stimulating Hormone and urinary Luteinising hormone (FSH/LH), for bioassay, was prepared in ampoules coded 21/344. A collaborative study was organised with six laboratories in six countries. All laboratories were asked to perform in vivo bioassays in order to assign a potency to the candidate IS, 21/344, relative to the current WHO International Standard, 10/286.
