The WHO South-East Regional Office organized a two-day Virtual Regional workshop on Patient Safety “Striving for Zero Avoidable Harm”, Quality of Care, and Alignment with National Health Policy/IPC Strategy from 1 to 2 May 2025.
The primary objective of the workshop was to assess progress in implementing the WHO Global Patient Safety Action Plan 2021–2030 and the IPC strategy/action plan, with a view to achieving zero avoidable harm in the pursuit of Universal Health Coverage (UHC), and to explore the alignment of existing patient safety, IPC, and quality policies with the national health policy.
