Established by WHO and UNICEF in 1989, TechNet-21 is a global network of immunization professionals committed to strengthening immunization services by building relationships, sharing knowledge, coordinating activities, and aligning priorities and goals. TechNet members are immunization professionals working to improve immunization services in every country and at all levels – from global policy formulation and national programme management to service delivery at subnational levels.
The network has two complementary parts: the TechNet Conference, held every two years since 1990, and the TechNet-21.org website released in 1998. The goal is to improve immunization services by bringing together immunization professionals at every level, in every country, and from every sector.
To become a member of TechNet-21, go to www.TechNet-21.org and click "Join". Find answers, share experiences, or simply make your voice heard when important topics in immunization are discussed.
TechNet is managed and overseen by WHO and UNICEF, with the support of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and in coordination with the Gavi Alliance’s immunization Supply Chain Steering Committee (iSC2).
