Introduction


The development of the Proposed programme budget 2024-2025 has been more consultative and country-focused than ever before. In keeping with the Secretariat’s commitment to transparency, this page features two dashboards, each focused on exploring a key dataset underlying the development of the Programme budget.

 

The first dashboard presents the results of the outcome and output priority-setting across countries, territories and areas (see our explainer on setting technical priorities at country-level here and notes on the ranking methodology at the bottom of this page).

 

The second dashboard presents the budget costing for 2024-2025 down to output level (see our explainer on the Programme budget costing process here).

 

Please use the filters available at the top of each dashboard to explore the data. Each dashboard has its own specific set of filters. You can click on outcome and output code for more information. Underlying data is available for download here.

Notes

1. For strategic priority 3 (SP3), results by outcome are not comparable due to changes in their respective programmatic scoping between 2020-2021 and 2022-2023 biennia.

 

2. Outcomes 4.2 and 4.3 are excluded from the prioritization exercise as they correspond to the Secretariat’s enabling functions.

4. Outcomes and outputs are ranked according to the following methodology: each outcome/output is given a score based on the number of times it was prioritized as high, medium or low according to the following scale: high = 3, medium = 2, low = 1. Based on this score, outcomes and outputs are ranked by level of priority. This ranking is dynamic and will adjust to the set of filters selected.
